Consultation on Admissions Arrangements for entry to Godstone Primary & Nursery School in September 2022

In line with the statutory requirement to do so at least every 7 years, and if there are proposed changes, the Local Governance Board (LGB) and the Admissions Authority, wish to consult you on the admissions criteria for entry to Godstone Primary & Nursery School for September 2022. 

Statutory requirement to consult 

Statutory guidance on school admissions is contained in the School Admissions Code 2014. There is a statutory requirement for all schools to consult on their admissions arrangements at least once every 7 years, and if there are any proposed changes. 

To confirm, we are not proposing any changes to the current Admissions Arrangements (please see attached).

The consultation period is required by law to run during a specified timeframe for a period of at least 6 weeks and to have concluded by 31st January 2021. 

Consultation period 

The consultation period begins on 17th December 2020 and will end on 31 January 2021.
